Written by Uyghur-French author Guzelya Marisova, Story of the Stolen Homes follows twins Eldar and Elnur as they explore a special exhibition that reveals Palestine from a unique perspective. Guided by Reem, the children gain eye-opening knowledge about the history and struggles of the Palestinian people. Marisova penned this book to express her pain following Israel’s unrelenting offensive on October 7. Supported by Friends of Palestine (FoP), such projects encourage creativity in delivering the Palestinian narrative and foster a new sense of resistance.
