Friends of Palestine Network, or FoP, emerged in 2019 as a grassroots initiative founded by a group of passionate Palestinian activists and influential figures in Malaysia. Born out of a shared commitment to champion the Palestinian cause, FoP embarked on a journey to create a distinctive and impactful approach to advocacy. With humble beginnings, the organization quickly evolved into a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to weaving a creative network that resonates across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. |
Since its inception, FoP has steadfastly committed itself to becoming a dynamic force in advocating for the rights and freedom of the Palestinian people. Colors: Our logo colours are a powerful representation of the rich history and aspirations of the Palestinian people. Inspired by the Palestinian flag, our choice of colours dates back to 1909 when the Arab nationalist 'Literary Club' in Istanbul drew inspiration from the thirteenth-century Arab poet Safi a-Din al-Hili.
The Black
in our logo symbolizes the enduring strength and resilience of the Palestinian spirit in the face of oppression and persecution throughout history.
The Green
a vibrant hue in our logo, signifies prosperity, blessings, and the hope for a thriving future. It is a testament to our commitment to creating a better tomorrow for our community. Together, these colors encapsulate the essence of our identity, echoing the struggles, aspirations, and unwavering hope of the Palestinian people.
The Red
represents the many martyrs and sacrifices of the Palestinian people.
